The Hankey Bannister range of blended Scotch whiskies progresses from a no-age-statement variant through 12 and 21-year-olds, culminating in a 40-year-old expression. Now owned by Inver House Distillers Ltd, Hankey Bannister & Co was established in 1757, and despite being relatively low-key in many markets today, boasts an impressive heritage.

According to an Inver House spokesperson, "Over the years, Hankey Bannister has become much beloved of the great and good, including the Prince Regent William IV, the Dukes of Norfolk and Queensberry and war-time Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill. Today, Hankey Bannister's smooth, light and perfectly balanced blend remains a popular choice for discerning whisky drinkers worldwide." Inevitably, single malts from Inver House's portfolio of distilleries feature prominently in Hankey Bannister, including Balblair, Knockdhu, Balmenach, Pulteney and Speyburn.

Hankey Bannister, 21-Year-Old Partnersí Reserve (Scotland)
